MARTA VEZZOLI 1976 born in Chiari (Brescia), Italy, a degree in sculpture, of fine arts Brera Academy, Milan in 1999 and a diploma in art therapy in 2005. Since 2001 she lives and works in Pavia. Resident artist of the gallery from 2010, with important group shows in Nice and Naples, followed by her solo exhibitions curated by Monteoliveto Gallery: “Intimi legami. Fra sogni e vita”, paintings and sculptures, Naples and Nice, 2010; “Legami in-dissolti” (Not-Fading Connections) galerie de l’Europe, Rue de Seine, Paris (France), with a catalog of the exhibition curated by Monteoliveto Gallery, Color Art Editor, 2011. From 2010 to 2013 her artistic activity has expanded internationally with Monteoliveto Gallery by participating in international Art Fairs in Italy (Naples, AAF Milan and Kunstart Bolzano) and abroad: France (Cannes, Nice, Start Strasbourg, Aix en Provence), Belgium (Ghent), Principality of Monaco, Sweden (Stockholm), The Netherlands (Amsterdam) and Spain (SWAB Barcelona) where her works were highly appreciated for their elegance and the emotional hidden ties that invade the canvases. In 2012 she moved to Germany, and lived in Leipzig, making exhibitions and performances in Germany and in Italy. After years of travel and changes of residence, she returned in her city, Palazzolo sull’Oglio in 2019 where she has opened Contesto Arte, an art studio with the ceramist Angela Lancini. To find her roots, and to continue “to sew thoughts and emotions”.
