Sanne RASMUSSEN born in 1960 in Denmark, she lives and works in Køge. The artist has received the manuduction of painter Daniel Goldenberg in his studio in Willemoesgade in Copenhagen and the Spektrum art school in Copenhagen. She finds inspiration from her daily impressions and experiences and from her travels in the world, particularly inspired by life in the big contemporary cities where the portrait has a very special place in her repertoire. She works with oil on canvas, with a figurative expression focused on lights and shadows, an old classique painting technique with layers, with a contemporary and modern expression. Sanne Rasmussen had many art exhibitions in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Portugal. From 2018 she has been represented by Monteoliveto Gallery in many international art fairs in Mulhouse and Paris (France), Ghent (Belgium), Luxembourg and Lausanne (Switzerland) and in art exhibitions in Milan and London. The artist is also one of the participating artists in the 2nd edition of the Monteoliveto Gallery MadforNaples Project that -due to Covid-19 – will have its closing event in 2021.
